Pneumatic chicks rock and roll onstage and off in this sexploitation picture filled with generic tunes and uninspired couplings. Alex (C. Asleigh) peevishly quits the Los Angeles-based Vinyl Dolls after a tiff about her songwriting talent, leaving the band in a bind. Kim (Jezebelle Bond), Sam (Beverly Lynne) and Franny (Ander Page) audition replacements, but all they seem to be seeing is American Idol rejects.
